"Pure f~cking armageddon!" - IN EFFECT

"Tweaked-out music, taking hardcore to another level" - Maximum Rock N Roll
"Fun for the whole Manson family!" - Alternative Press

Six and Violence has been tearing up the stages of CBGBs and other New York hardcore venues since 1985, opening for bands such as The Ramones, Anthrax, and Warzone.

Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull) has graced Six and Violence's debut album "Lettuce Prey" with two incredible flute performances and some very humorous spoken word. This work has defined hardcore/progressive cross-over, a style unique to Six and Violence, sometimes referred to as "bizzare-core".

Dave Miranda is a co-founder and co-producer of the band, powering the unit since its conception with a unique "stand-up" drum / percussion arrangement. Cymbals are played by a separate cymbal player.  This allows Dave full attention to the toms and snare, making for unusual and complex beats at blazingly fast tempos.
